Live connector

Live connector. A management key reads daily spend per billing item from the xAI management API.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the xAI console. You need the “Management keys” permission on your team.
  2. Go to Settings → Management keys and create a key.
  3. In Ratelytics, open Connections → xAI Grok, paste the key and connect.

Good to know

  • Regular API keys share the xai- prefix but are rejected by the management API. If validation fails, check where the key was created.
  • xAI reports spend in USD per billing item; token counts are not exposed by the analytics API yet.
